So cute right! Last Friday these cute little chicks made a visit to our room! It was such great timing because we had just spent some time learning about oviparous animals. Each week on our way to the Library we would check the eggs in the incubator for any changes. Low and behold last Wednesday there were chicks pecking out of their eggs and some were already removed and in a large contained warming zone. On Friday the chicks were well enough for a visit and we let them loose within our circle! So much fun for the children and a great segway to our Farm unit! Speaking of the Farm....don't forget to send in the field trip forms!
